The documentary provides an insight into the life of a civilian family in the East of Ukraine. This is the film about war, occupation, life choices, imprisonment and liberation. And, of course, it’s about love.
“The film characters are very close to my heart, particularly, because I lived in Donbass when I was a young adult; and also, since the beginning of war in 2014, I spent more time there than in my present home town Konotop” says Ruslan.
Ruslan Gorovyi is a well-known Ukrainian journalist, documentary film director, novelist and activist of the Ukrainian volunteer movement.
