The photo exhibition “Revolution of Dignity! (Kiev; Post-Soviet, Post-Revolution)” will take place on the 22nd-23rd February, at The Depot, 38 Upper Clapton Road, London E5 8BQ. The private view is on 22nd 6pm-10pm. 23rd is open to the public from 4pm-9.30pm.

The exhibition is in collaboration with UK organization Faces in Focus, to raise money for the GoCamp
project
. An NGO funded volunteer programme which is also supported by British Council, the British Embassy in Ukraine and the London Office of EBRD, GoCamp hosts educational camps for Ukrainian youth, to increase communication between Ukraine and the rest of the world. For the last two years, almost hundred Brits volunteered for GoCamp, including the Ambassador of the UK to Ukraine and the Director of the British Council in Ukraine.

“Revolution of Dignity! (Kiev; Post-Soviet, Post-Revolution)” is a group exhibition by photographers from across Europe, showcasing the events of Ukraine’s Maidan Revolution as they unfurled. The photographs capture the hope and community spirit, as well as the violence and loss that occurred after government-hired snipers open fired at protesters.

Marking Maidan’s four-year anniversary, the exhibition invites the viewer to reflect on the period, and see how Kiev’s young activists are still keeping the movement going, several years on.
