As part of London Fashion Week, design focused brand, Harper & Blake, will be showcasing their Autumn/Winter ‘16 collection at one of Shoreditch’s newest creative hubs, London HOUSE Studio.
The collection has been inspired by one of London and Ukraine’s rising talents, Alina Zamanova
) and consists of eight silk scarves which have been inspired by predators of the wild.
Alina is an innovative creator, constantly pushing the barriers of fashion’s perception of beauty. She comes from a fashion illustration background and has previously designed garments for Alexander McQueen. Alina has tied her own aesthetic quality into this fashion line with Harper & Blake’s signature minimalist with a twist style intertwined.
To give an added dimension to the showcase, the collection will be presented within a specially constructed set, designed by Alun Davies (www.alun-davies.com
) and Joseph Stephen (www.josephstephen.london
), who together, have built sets for clients such as Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Topshop, Tatler and Harpers Bazaar.
The set will be designed to reflect London as an urban jungle, tying in the theme of the collection and the city in which it is being launched.
Guests will have the chance to view the collection, speak with the designer and to also get a first hand feel of the new and exciting direction that Harper & Blake are heading towards for the future.
